It's A Wonderful Knife
Приєднався 10 кві 2010
when i was a little kid i wanted to be a boy scout, my mom picked up a boyscout manual for me for 25 cents at a local thrift store and I read it from cover to cover and from whose pages i learned the art of knife sharpening and have continued doing it for friends, family, coworkers, and neighbors ever since. i learned how to do minor repairs to knives then i decided to go a little further and make my own knife which i named the Knaxe. my dad gave me my first pocket knife when i was a kid. it had belonged to my great grandfather, my father, then me. it was a cheap little jackknife made by colonial knives, i had it for years even after the handle scales had fallen off of it. i have found knives to be the most important tool that has ever been used by mankind. they save lives, and make life easier.

Would the carbide knife straighten the cutting blade on my carbide kitchen knives that "curl"?
I have used them successfully for that! Just be mindful of your pressure.
@Prometheus1111 thank you 😊
👋🏻
Beautiful surroundings.
Thank you!
Subbed and tickled the bell so it gives me ALL NOTIFICATIONS 🎉
Lol, invisible studio audience... 😅 that was warm, friendly, and inviting, but then... i am prejudiced. ❤
Well done 👏🏻
Glad to see this! Just subscribed.
Heck yeah, looking forward to seeing some videos.
Glad to see you back
How many times have you sharpen this Spyderco K2?
5347 H P tang stamp
Cliff was a wonderful person, and had a world of knowledge in his brain. I might try to get back into UA-cam, but it isn't the same as it was back in the day. Also, great and interesting finds.
I've found a few really great Frost designs lately that I plan on doing videos on.
What a crap video. Sorry everyone! Thanks for watching anyways!
I was going to ask why you’d need a noisy little pistol like that but scaring of wildlife makes perfect sense. Thanks for sharing
Love mine
Nice gear👍🏻please make more how to videos. I’m going to use you sidewalk broken knife tip video. Glad you are well✌🏻
Glad you're back, i'm sorry for your loss. Said a prayer for Cliff's family...
I like the color on that swiss
Oh crap 😳..... The cyber tool bits can be used to maintain the edc knife 🙆🏻♂️... Oh noh..... The perfect excuse to buy one..... Must resist the urge 😬....... Seriously i was just yesterday eyeballing one and told my self not to buy because im not a computer guy ....but now 🤷🏻♂️ 😂
Do you know if the spyderco tuff is still available?
Unfortunately no, it isn't available anymore
What’s the model of the maratac flashlight?
AAx2
Welcome back
Thank you!
Love the cyber tool,I need to get one of them for my collection. Atb paddy 👍
It's worth it, thank you for watching, sorry it was so lengthy!
Thanks buddy glad to hear things are going well and that maybe you’ll be back doing videos. I like that guilloche pattern. That zippo tape measure is cool too.
Hey 👋 nice to see you back... Your channel is one of those i like to come back and rewatch videos on from time to time. Glad to hear more is one the way 👍 RIP Cliff Stamp
Thank you!!
Love Spyderco
My bayonet has that knob at the handle's end just like that one. I do have a number on my too.
не судьба снять как он светит в комнате бля чтож за обзорщики такие светить на стол - охуеть
Yes, spyderco definitely improved the edge and handle construction vs the customs
Had it, was shocked at well it carried. Found it didn't work in my hands. Respect the design though.
Very cool knives! I really like that Emerson. Thanks for sharing! God Bless!
Lets see that spyderco tuff, where is it ?
What's wpm? Thanks
The light isn't constantly on at any time, it's a pulse that is very fast in the light stream and many motion cameras will make it visible in films and videos
Good job you just saved Gods creation it is so beautiful
Later that day I had a steak knife sized sliver go 2 inches deep into my glove and it didn't harm me. Call it what you will but, you reap what you sew. Harm nothing and no one to the greatest of your ability and I think you can count on the same in return.
Yeah, you're back. But WTF, where is that wind coming from?
It's machines...conveyer chains, a saw, and a vacuum. The moth was just fluttering it's wings.
I just got the D4S and it does it too. Twice when ramping up, and once going down. Annoying as fok!!
Nice review... consider beam shots outside ... that also helps a lot Thx
Thank you. I had thought about that but, no can do. I just don't have the time. Really though I agree.
Hang on to that knife bud. Could be worth a bit more than you paid. I’ve got a similar one the Kershaw 2002. It’s a folder lock back but it’s got the same rosewood inlays and is the same color. These knives (or at least mine) seem to be kinda rare. I think they are part of a series called Easy Rider and we’re in production in the 70s and 80s. At least that’s what I heard.
Yes, it is by design. Info from www.reddit.com/r/flashlight/comments/778l6t/emisar_d4_blinks_when_ramping_brightness_up/ "There are two channels for power to get to the LEDs. One is limited in current, while the other attempts to deliver as much current as possible. Both blink several thousand times a second to produce various brightness levels, with the length of the blink determining output. There are two reasons it's useful to know where the transition is: This rapid blinking, called PWM results in lines in photographs or videos taken with an electronic rolling shutter like a smartphone, GoPro, etc.... There is no PWM at the crossover point. Output on the regulated modes is stable as the battery drains, at least until it's near-dead. Output on the unregulated modes always depends on battery voltage. The battery shouldn't care much about this crossover because the PWM is very fast and the load spikes effectively average out. The LEDs do care a bit. There's a tendency for tint to shift based on current and for longevity to be harmed a bit by high current operation. The clever bit is that the regulated current path is left on except at max output, so the transition is smoothed out and you usually don't notice the tint shift."
Sasoon2006 awesome explanation! Thanks for taking the time to explain it.
That lion steel !! Top notch great knife.
Sweet flashlight. The containers they use are also nifty. I use them to organize small parts.
Lol...what happened at the end??
ima4ster oh!! I have no idea, probably was over caffeinated.
Mine flickers also, when ramping down
Empty Space I get it when it hits turbo too and going down to moonlight or so. I was reading on blf that others have it too. They say it could be a marker of some kind on the mode progression. Sweet light for $40 though.
Yes that is a normal, on the lowest and highest light output is to let you know you reached the end, and in the midle it's there to let you know that is the highest brightnes for regulated output. So, yeah, it's markers.
He's on ramping mode...
But it here: countycomm.com/collections/view-all-light-products/products/maratac-aax2-extreme-tactical-light-rev-3
I have the rev 3 and dig it. I usually carry a foursevens mini mkii, but I always have my copper Maratac pcl on my keys.
workingclassless84 nice! This is a really good edc light. Hopefully I'll get to try out a few more models!
Nice man! Still don’t have a maratac yet... but one of these days maybe.
Advanced Knife Bro Fancy meeting you here. No flashlight collection is complete, well.....ever, but you gotta get you a maratac. I also recommend the versatool.
Advanced Knife Bro it's pretty excellent. You along with adventure sport flashlights and Mr baz are my influences. Thanks for the knowledge and putting a little gas on a spark for me.
Great review.
